About us

A supportive group of people

The Enterprise Club is a fun and friendly social club for anyone aged 18+ with a physical, sensory or learning disability to meet up, learn new skills and enjoy being part of a supportive group of people.

A whole range of activities

You can take part in a wide range of activities from crafts, sports, games and social events. We’re a membership organisation which provides benefits from trips to the theatre to pub lunches and much more.

Adapting To Your Special Needs

It can be hard to make new friends and be part of group activities when you have a disability. At The Enterprise Club we’ve got that covered. We have caring and supportive staff and volunteers who will make you feel welcome and valued.

Based in Coventry

The Enterprise Club is based in Coventry. It was started in 1938 when a severely disabled man from the city noticed a lack of social clubs for people like himself. He wrote to the Midland Daily Telegraph – now the Coventry Telegraph – and soon he was joined by others in a similar situation and the club was formed.

The main aims were to provide social, cultural and educational activities for people with disabilities in Coventry, this continues today.

The club is situated in Avon Street in Coventry. It has two large rooms, sports facilities including a snooker table, facilities for a wide range of crafts, entertainment and is fitted out for people with accessibility needs. It has a café and a garden.
